Emily Ruehs-Navarro, PhDEmily Ruehs-Navarro is a professor of sociology in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Elmhurst College. Her research focuses on the experiences of unaccompanied immigrant minors in the United States, and she is broadly interested in immigrant/refugee rights, humanitarianism, gender, race, and youth. As an instructor, Emily uses feminist pedagogy to engage students in global social issues.
